Wallet, full node and OpenCL GPU mining in one application.
Your Talnet light wallet on Android, connected through compatible gateways.
Precompiled TalnetNode for Linux x86-64. Validates and relays blocks and transactions.
Visit the developer's GitHub profile for available repositories and project updates.
Package builds have not been verified against the current V1 source. Confirm the build and current bits-adaptive Alpha and consensus identity before use. Old fixed-profile builds and chain databases are incompatible. These downloads are not labeled as the latest release.
A full node, GPU miner and light wallet have different requirements.
A compatible 64-bit system, network connection and enough disk space for a growing local blockchain. Keep a separate wallet backup; installing updates should not mean replacing your wallet data.
Extract Talnet.tar.gz into a new folder, enter Talnet and run ./install-dependencies.sh as your normal user. Then run ./startnode.sh check and ./startnode.sh start. The installer handles compatible system libraries on supported Ubuntu, Debian and Mint releases; it includes the required MiniUPnPc ABI privately. See README.md, requirements.txt and RUNTIME.txt. No compilation is required. It is not an ARM or Alpine/musl package. Startup on a clean Linux installation has not been tested here.
A suitable OpenCL GPU and driver, with room in system RAM and GPU VRAM for the bits-derived dataset plus overhead. The base is 2048 MiB / 1024 steps; caps are 14746 MiB / 14746 steps. Higher profiles can outgrow smaller-memory devices. Performance depends on your hardware and driver. Benchmark your own setup before committing mining resources.
The Android wallet uses compatible gateways rather than storing the full blockchain. Download the APK above on your Android device. Android installation may ask you to allow this source; verify the package origin before proceeding. The APK cannot be installed on an iPhone.
Keep an offline copy of your 24-word recovery phrase. Never enter it on a website.
Use the intended release and compare its Alpha and consensus identity with the V1 documentation.
Confirm that peers are connected and the local chain is synchronized before relying on balances.
Close Talnet before updating its program files. PatchTal is an updater, not a wallet backup or a substitute for checking release trust.
