From mining to wallet balances, the V1 protocol defines what every compatible full node must check.

PoWTaL mining

SHA3 and BLAKE3 mixing with a sequential RAM walk. The bits-adaptive profile starts at 2048 MiB and 1024 steps; harder targets can increase both, up to 14746 MiB and 14746 steps.

Hybrid authorization

ECDSA/secp256k1 and SPHINCS+-SHAKE-256f-simple authorize transactions together. A shared witness avoids repeating the signature for every input owned by the same sender.

Shared ChainGuard

A deterministic monitoring model bound to Alpha. Compatible peers exchange checkpoints; each node checks them against its own replay of the accepted chain.

    Incoming payments require 6 confirmations; mining rewards mature after 200.

Mining rewards are earned by finding accepted blocks, not simply by keeping a wallet open.
